Porridge

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup AdSey’s Nest Corn Dough
  2. 4 cups water, Milk, Sugar or honey to taste, Groundnut (peanut).

Preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add water to corn dough and strain to remove chaff. 
  3. Gradually whisk in sieved or strained dough mix, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the porridge thickens to your desired consistency.
  5. Sweeten the porridge with sugar or honey to taste.
  6. Serve hot, topped with groundnut, milk if desired.
