Ingredients
- 2 cups AdSey’s Nest corn dough
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon
- black pepper
- Oil for frying
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the AdSey’s Nest corn dough, flour, milk, eggs, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, frying in batches.
- Cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or as a side dish.
