Adwoa is a goal-oriented, results-driven professional with over 17 years of experience in development work and nonprofit management, coupled with a strong business acumen. As the CEO and Export Manager of AdSey’s Nest, she leverages her extensive background in clean cooking, energy efficiency, and sustainable livelihoods to drive business growth and market expansion. Adwoa has successfully guided local organizations and donor-funded programs in diverse areas such as girls’ education, reproductive health, social and financial literacy, and community systems strengthening. Her strategic partnerships with local leaders and expertise in program development, research, advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation have consistently delivered impactful results.

 

With a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer needs, Adwoa has led initiatives to build the capacity of government agencies, NGOs, and program staff, fostering economic independence for grassroots women and girls through enterprise development. In the past five years, she has served on the Board of the Ghana Alliance for Clean Cooking, driving strategic support and innovation in the sector. Adwoa’s leadership at AdSey’s Nest is characterized by her commitment to sustainable, climate smart agribusiness, positioning the company as a leader in producing and exporting high-quality, sustainable food products.
